Kaldt Helvete est un des plus beaux hommages que l'on puisse rendre à la scène Black Metal des années 90, tout en étant aussi un groupe à forte identité, ce qui n'est pas rien. A la fois porteurs de la flamme d'Emperor, Burzum,  Mutiilation, les débuts de Behemoth ou Immortal et détenteurs d'une âme dédiée aux arts noirs le groupe nous livre ici quelques secrets. Erre de Numen Numen is a superb example of Black Metal from the Spanish Basque Country, and also a veteran band, having been around since 1997. To mark the release of their latest album, “Erre,” on Les Acteurs de L'Ombre Productions, I had the chance to interview them. Hello, Numen. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about your new album, “Erre”? Hi, greetings from Arrasate—Lander here. Thank you very much for having us. The new album consists of five tracks. It’s still Numen, but there’s been an evolution in technical skill and song composition. Without straying from our roots, it's aggressive, straight-ahead black metal—Numen in its purest form. As for the lyrical content, the entire album is conceptual. 'Erre' means 'To Burn', and It deals with the witch hunts carried out in Iparralde back in the early 17th century. Jours Pâles by Asphodèle Avec "Jours Pâles" Asphodèle ont sorti un album marquant l'année 2019 de son empreinte. Audrey, chanteuse dans le duo et également génitrice de Malenuit, n'est pas une inconnue, pusique vous retrouverez facilement les groupes dont elle a fait partie dans le passé et qu'elle ne souhaite pas évoquer ici. Numéro 18 de mon TOP 50 (et quelques) de l'année 2019, "Jours Pâles" est vraiment un bel album, a la fois authentique et foutrement original. Interview with Jarno Salomaa (guitars/Keyboards) FUNERAL DOOM METAL WITH BLACK METAL SHAPES Can you remind us the conditions of birth of the band ? You were first called Raven, back in 1998, and you were already playing melodic and dark profound Funeral Doom ? How did you passed from one band to another and why ? Yes, we started around '94/'95 with Raven. At first, Raven's music were actually more in the vein of today's post black metal without vocals. On atmosphere-wise it drove pretty much the same as later when we slowed things down for good. We made one rehearsal recording back at the first year and then left everything behind for some reason. Can't remember were it cause of other bands (With Death, Haven in shadows, Wanderer etc..)..we had a lot of projects going on at that time with just the few of us living near by. Lots of journeys into the woods and too little of sleep while making music, best way to inspire. But, then in '98...

INTERVIEW VINDSVAL OCT 2019  "Je ne peux pas me contenter du hasard ou du non-sens, mon esprit refuse complètement cette idée dont beaucoup semblent aujourd'hui s’accommoder" (Vindsval) William Sheller chante qu'il veut être un homme heureux...je ne sais pas si c'est possible, mais en tout cas, pour moi, avoir le privilège de cette interview est une des choses qui se rapprochent le plus du bonheur. C'est la deuxième fois que le maestro se confie a moi, et cette fois encore plus longuement. C'est sans doute son interview la plus intime, la plus personnelle, et, selon ses mots, probablement la dernière qu'il donnera, l'homme préférant la solitude du créateur. Une dernière fois donc, et ceci nous a permis d'aborder l'enfance de Vindsval, son rapport a l'art, a l'esthétique, au showbiz, la philosophie, la poésie, la lumière, l'histoire...et le black metal, bien sûr. De Drakonhail à Sale Freux, rencontre avec Dunkel - Le Scribe du Rock - Juin 2020

Au fur et à mesure de l'avancée de ce siècle maudit et abandonné du cosmos Sale Freux est devenu une légende et une influence pour des dizaines de groupes de Black Metal français et étrangers. J'avoue être assez fier de cet entretien avec Dunkel, où nous revenons aux origines du groupe, évoquons ses différents projets et activités. Nous parlons aussi fauconnerie, collection de plumes,  dans ce qui est davantage un récit, selon les mots du corbeau lui-même, qu'une interview classique. Assurément Dunkel nous livre ici une rareté, lui plus familier des ombres que des médias. Profitez-en pour faite plus ample connaissance avec cet individu singulier et talentueux.  "Le Black Metal, c’est faire face à la mort, aller toujours plus loin et de manière la plus extrême.
