GRINDCORE FROM NETHERLANDS : 25 YEARS OF INHUME IN INTERVIEW ! (ENGLISH AND FRANÇAIS)

Image
Hi Inhume! You are celebrating your 25 years of existence with a beautiful digipack released at Xenokorp records. Can you remind us the origins of the band, your influences back then, and what did you want to do with Inhume? Hello all, first of all thanks for the kind words and what can i tell you, Inhume set out to be the most brutal band ever! We all came from other bands in different styles of metal but with the same interest to start this new band. At that time we were heavily influenced by bands like Terrorizer, Napalm Death, Carcass, Brutal Truth etc . but i think we found our own style right away. The initial try out consisted of 9 people but it immediately setled at 5 and when recording the first demo back in ’95 i joined. I had been in a band w ith drummer R oel in the previous 4 or 5 years so we already knew each other quite well. Your genre of music is often classified as “Brutal Death Metal/Grindcore” what do you think about this appellation and does it fit you?...

INTERVIEW NUMEN - Basque Black Metal ! English & French Text - Les Acteurs de L'Ombre Productions - Pierre Avril

Image
Erre de Numen Numen is a superb example of Black Metal from the Spanish Basque Country, and also a veteran band, having been around since 1997. To mark the release of their latest album, “Erre,” on Les Acteurs de L'Ombre Productions, I had the chance to interview them. Hello, Numen. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about your new album, “Erre”? Hi, greetings from Arrasate—Lander here. Thank you very much for having us. The new album consists of five tracks. It’s still Numen, but there’s been an evolution in technical skill and song composition. Without straying from our roots, it's aggressive, straight-ahead black metal—Numen in its purest form. As for the lyrical content, the entire album is conceptual. 'Erre' means 'To Burn', and It deals with the witch hunts carried out in Iparralde back in the early 17th century. Your songs explore the ancient beliefs of the Basque Country. Could you give us some examples of these beliefs and the rituals associate...

INTERVIEW WITH VINDSVAL : THE LAST ONE - FR + ENGLISH TEXT - BLUT AUS NORD/YERUSELEM

Image

TRIBUTE TO DUSTIN JEFFRIES (1981-2020) : Cult Black Noise from the USA ! Enbilulugugal on interview (ENGLISH + FRENCH)

Image
The words of Izedis Apirikubabadazuzukanpa TRIBUTE TO DUSTIN JEFFRIES  1981-2020 When I did this interview with Izedis from Enbilulugugal, I was far from thinking that it would probably be the last one he gave since he sadly left us in February 2020. The young man (barely 38 years old) had accumulated many health problems for a long time and his heart finally gave out. A charming boy, whose death shocked me so deeply that I found him deeply unjust. He thus joins the idols Seth Putnam or GG Allin in the pantheon of the Extreme Rockers, whose life was as crazy as the music. Still. What sadness to learn that this talented, misunderstood boy, poor as a day without bread, was going to add his stone to the edifice of the artists who were broke too early and broke at the banking level. His music, strange magma of Punk, Noise, Black Metal, Grind and unknown sounds certainly deserves better than the mockery or the little respect he was given. Let's hope at least that this inter...
