Erre de Numen Numen is a superb example of Black Metal from the Spanish Basque Country, and also a veteran band, having been around since 1997. To mark the release of their latest album, “Erre,” on Les Acteurs de L'Ombre Productions, I had the chance to interview them. Hello, Numen. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about your new album, “Erre”? Hi, greetings from Arrasate—Lander here. Thank you very much for having us. The new album consists of five tracks. It’s still Numen, but there’s been an evolution in technical skill and song composition. Without straying from our roots, it's aggressive, straight-ahead black metal—Numen in its purest form. As for the lyrical content, the entire album is conceptual. 'Erre' means 'To Burn', and It deals with the witch hunts carried out in Iparralde back in the early 17th century. Your songs explore the ancient beliefs of the Basque Country. Could you give us some examples of these beliefs and the rituals associate...

Ash wasn't in the mood when he answered this. Well, i don't know if he is in the mood sometimes ? Well, after all, it's a real Black Metal mood so...Thanks to him to answer all these questions and all apologies for telling too much the B.... word (Burzum !) I understand it can be annoying ! Enjoy this interview with one of the biggest and greatest band of the whole genre !

Bonjour ! Asphodèle est un projet...

INTERVIEW WITH DEATHLORD OF ABOMINATION AND WAR APOCALYPSE AKA RYAN FÖRSTER (BLASPHEMY/CONQUEROR) It is a great privilege for me to have had this interview with Ryan Forster (aka DEATHLORD OF ABOMINATION AND WAR APOCALYPSE) a great figure in Canadian Black Metal since he founded with J.Read the Conqueror cults, more recently Death Worship, and, with great joy, permanent member of the Blasphemy gods since 1999. So we're talking about all the above-mentioned groups, the Ross Bay Cult, what TRUE Black Metal should be. An interview that makes you want to burn down your entire discotheque to keep only Venom, Bathory, Sarcofago, Blasphemy, Beherit, Conqueror, Archgoat and a few happy fews... But no, I wouldn't burn my atmospheric Black Metal nuggets! Come on, immerse yourself in this real moment in the history of Black Metal! Le Scribe Hail Ryan, thank you for answering my questions it's quite an honor ! We're here to talk about your two bands : the cult ou...

The words of Izedis Apirikubabadazuzukanpa TRIBUTE TO DUSTIN JEFFRIES  1981-2020 When I did this interview with Izedis from Enbilulugugal, I was far from thinking that it would probably be the last one he gave since he sadly left us in February 2020. The young man (barely 38 years old) had accumulated many health problems for a long time and his heart finally gave out. A charming boy, whose death shocked me so deeply that I found him deeply unjust. He thus joins the idols Seth Putnam or GG Allin in the pantheon of the Extreme Rockers, whose life was as crazy as the music. Still. What sadness to learn that this talented, misunderstood boy, poor as a day without bread, was going to add his stone to the edifice of the artists who were broke too early and broke at the banking level. His music, strange magma of Punk, Noise, Black Metal, Grind and unknown sounds certainly deserves better than the mockery or the little respect he was given. Let's hope at least that this inter...
