Erre de Numen Numen is a superb example of Black Metal from the Spanish Basque Country, and also a veteran band, having been around since 1997. To mark the release of their latest album, “Erre,” on Les Acteurs de L'Ombre Productions, I had the chance to interview them. Hello, Numen. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about your new album, “Erre”? Hi, greetings from Arrasate—Lander here. Thank you very much for having us. The new album consists of five tracks. It’s still Numen, but there’s been an evolution in technical skill and song composition. Without straying from our roots, it's aggressive, straight-ahead black metal—Numen in its purest form. Tout commence par un titre lent et étrange, "Hélas je n'étais pas fait pour cette haine"...Etonnant assortiment de guitares shoegaze/coldwave et de voix sursaturée sur un tempo lent à la Burzum.
