La solitude du pieux scélérat by ARS MORIENDI Entretien avec ARSONIST Bonjour Arsonist ! Merci à toi de répondre à mes questions. Ars Moriendi existe depuis maintenant presque 20 ans. Comment s'est fondé ce projet et quels étaient tes objectifs à l'époque ? Effectivement j’ai commencé à travailler sur Ars Moriendi en octobre 2001 suite à l’arrêt de Solipsis, projet Black/Death mélodique que je partageais avec un ami et avec lequel nous avions enregistré 2 démos. Au départ Ars Moriendi devait être un projet Dark/Ambient d’inspiration médiévale, mais dès la première démo, Extrême Onction, quelques riffs étaient déjà présents. Le projet est cependant resté totalement instrumental jusqu’au 2e album (Rois des ombres) avant que des bribes de chant black ne fassent leur apparition sur Venefica en 2003.  Au cours des premières années, Ars Moriendi se démarquais déjà par une approche originale. Erre de Numen Numen is a superb example of Black Metal from the Spanish Basque Country, and also a veteran band, having been around since 1997. To mark the release of their latest album, “Erre,” on Les Acteurs de L'Ombre Productions, I had the chance to interview them. Hello, Numen. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about your new album, “Erre”? Hi, greetings from Arrasate—Lander here. Thank you very much for having us. The new album consists of five tracks. It’s still Numen, but there’s been an evolution in technical skill and song composition. Without straying from our roots, it's aggressive, straight-ahead black metal—Numen in its purest form.   Lost in the whiteness de BLACK FORTRESS Bonjour Hylgaryss, c'est pour moi un honneur que de t' avoir en interview. Tu navigues dans le milieu du black metal depuis les années 90 et tu as enchaîné les projets. Peux tu te présenter à nos lectrices/lecteurs ? Le plaisir est partagé. Effectivement, j’ai commencé le black metal il y a assez longtemps, dans la première partie des années 90, en écoutant des projets classiques comme Cradle of Filth pour leur premier album, puis Deinonychus avec The Silence of December, qui reste mon album de black préféré. Ensuite, beaucoup de choses pendant presque dix ans, mais pas uniquement du black metal. Mes albums cultes sont le premier Tristitia et Les Ténèbres du Dehors d’Elend (merci Holy Records). J’ai aussi beaucoup écouté de doom, avec par exemple The Angel and the Dark River de My Dying Bride. Tout ce qui pouvait s’apparenter à une musique remplie d’émotions sombres et tristes m’attirait. Mutiilation...ce nom résonne comme une belle flambée dans le ciel de France...Fer de lance des mystérieuses Légions Noires (qui resteront un mystère pour toujours), Meyhnach, âme sombre derrière ce combo mythique a semé des graines de noirceur indélébiles dans nos âmes abruties. Mutiilation c'est un mythe aux quatre coins de la planète, un des groupes les plus importants de toute l'histoire du Black Metal.   Bonjour à vous, Void et Moon, vous êtes membres des projets Non Serviam, Biollante et Hiverlucide qui composent un collectif anarchiste et antifasciste et tourné vers l'expérimentation tous azimuts, qu'il s'agisse de BM avant-gardiste pour Non Serviam, de Rap Indus/Punk Rap pour Biollante, ou de Noise drone industriel et expérimental pour Hiverlucide. Pouvez-vous nous en dire plus sur la naissance de ce collectif fascinant  et des divers projets ? Void : A la base c'est moi tout seul dans ma chambre qui fait du son, au départ très electro faute d'instruments puis par goût (il y a un premier album qui en témoigne sur notre bandcamp, « Un petit peu d'amour pour la haine »), sans aucune ambition et sans avoir le temps d'en avoir. Ma vie était alors très mouvementée et je n'avais pas de temps à consacrer à la composition.
