Interview CAVE MOUTH - ENGLISH & FRENCH TEXT - Witch Folk - Non Posse Mori Records - Le Scribe Du Rock
An absolutely fascinating album by Cave Mouth (see MY REVIEW) and an unclassifiable music called Witch Folk, which takes you on a musical journey to pagan lands where myths from the North and Michigan collide, and where two witches, Katie in England and Meghan in the USA, come to lay their art at the feet of the sacred land for our greatest happiness. Of course, your scribe wanted to know more, and I thank Katie and Meghan for playing along with this interview! Pierre
"Come deeper, it says, in its voice that is not a voice. You have already always been here." (Alice Tarbuck, witch & author)
Hello Katie! Can you introduce us to Cave Mouth?
Do you practice a Wicca type of spirituality?
What are you listening to at the moment in Cave Mouth?
Do you think that a form of return to animism or at least a neo-paganism can save this world that is going adrift?
Katie: I wish it could! But sadly, I don't think so.
If Cave Mouth were to be a proverb or a quote?
Katie: Interesting question! At this moment, I'm very much feeling the following quote from author and witch Alice Tarbuck: "Come deeper, it says, in its voice that is not a voice. You have already always been here." Also, the quote, 'We ARE the magic,' though I'm unsure who initially said this. (Always remember to note your sources down, folks!)
Do you read within the group? And if so, can you tell us your favourite readings?
Any last words for our readers?
THANK YOU KATIE & MEGHAN
"Viens plus profondément, dit-elle, de sa voix qui n'est pas une voix. Vous avez déjà toujours été là." (Alice Tarbuck, sorcière & auteure)
