Erre de Numen Numen is a superb example of Black Metal from the Spanish Basque Country, and also a veteran band, having been around since 1997. To mark the release of their latest album, “Erre,” on Les Acteurs de L'Ombre Productions, I had the chance to interview them. Hello, Numen. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about your new album, “Erre”? Hi, greetings from Arrasate—Lander here. Thank you very much for having us. The new album consists of five tracks. It’s still Numen, but there’s been an evolution in technical skill and song composition. Without straying from our roots, it's aggressive, straight-ahead black metal—Numen in its purest form. It's kind of mix of Trap Metal, Black Metal with Ambient/industrial and Death Metal touches. Do you agree ? Thank you, I appreciate it. I would say it definately includes elements of all those, but the source of it all is beyond genre. Do you think Trap Metal is going to be a big  thing ? I think so.
